This shop showcases local soybeans, and the prized soybeans used to make its tofu are grown in collaboration with Mie University. Tofu tastes its best when it is freshly prepared. Back when there was no refrigeration technology, tofu was a precious food only eaten by nobility. At this VISON shop, visitors can enjoy warm, freshly made tofu. It’s delicious both as it is, or topped with a choice of locally produced condiments.
