VISON:HONZO AREA
Mie University and Rohto Pharmaceutical have concluded a joint research agreement that combines the knowledge of academia and the expertise of a pharmaceutical company to work on regional revitalization in Mie Prefecture. Together they research honzogaku, which originated in Mie Prefecture, using modern technology to provide a variety of medicinal baths utilizing seasonal and other plants. The facility also includes a laboratory.
The first season: Tofubuki
A citrus species endemic to Japan. The Yamato tachibana orange is said to be Japan’s oldest native citrus species. It’s also the first of the seventy-two seasons of Taki according to the traditional calendar.
Considering the fruit’s history and how it has survived since ancient times, HONZO Spa looks forward to welcoming you.
